DUNTON, UK, Sept. 12, 2024 – Ford Pro will host the global public debut of the all-new Ranger PHEV plug-in hybrid pickup 1 on its stand at this year’s IAA TRANSPORTATION show.

The first-in-segment pickup combines an electric motor with Ford’s 2.3-litre EcoBoost petrol engine to deliver the most torque of any available Ranger and no-compromise payload, towing and off-road performance.

As well as displaying the all-new vehicle on its stand, Ford Pro will make interview opportunities available with key figures from the Ranger PHEV programme:

  • Kyle Shearer, European pickup segment chief
  • James Cooper, European product manager

Ford Pro will also display the latest electrified, high-productivity Transit family on its stand at IAA TRANSPORTATION, as well as a pop-up Liive Centre using connected vehicle data to increase uptime and productivity for customers. Interview slots will also be available on request with:

  • Hans Schep, general manager, Ford Pro, Europe
  • Jon Buttress, chief programme engineer, E-Transit Courier
  • Dr. Christian Weingaertner, managing director, Ford in Germany, Austria, Switzerland
  • Experts from Ford Pro Software, Ford Pro Charging and FORDLiive

IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024 takes place in Hanover, Germany, from September 16-22. Ford Pro will be on stand D90, Hall 13, with a press conference at 09:20 CET on September 16.

1 The declared WLTP fuel/energy consumptions, CO2-emissions and electric range are determined according to the technical requirements and specifications of the European Regulations (EC) 715/2007 and (EU) 2017/1151 as last amended. The applied standard test procedures enable comparison between different vehicle types and different manufacturers. Officially homologated driving range, fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions will be published closer to on-sale date. In accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP). A targeted range of over 45 km may be achieved with a fully charged battery - depending on the existing series and battery configuration. The actual range may vary due to various factors (e.g. weather conditions, driving style, route profile, vehicle condition, age and condition of the lithium-ion battery).
